I hope you are all staying safe and maintaining as much social distancing as possible in this unusual time we are all experiencing.
My new "We the People" mosaic was installed on Court Street in Natick Center on Thursday June 11, 2020. Stop by sometime when you are in the area to see it. This new mosaic is 41"Wide x 12'High and has fifty-one unique handmade tiles made of multi-colored fused glass, and thousands of colorful glass tiles made from recycled glass glued onto four large panels that are installed above each other on the brick wall.
The saying arching over the mosaic in blended skin tones is: "We the People Have a Dream of Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness with Kindness Equality Respect Tolerance Education Freedom and Justice for All". The words in the center interspersed in the colors of the rainbow are: courage, trust, cooperation, family, patience, acceptance, care, equity, community, honor, love, unity, peace, truth and hope.
Thank you to the many donors who participated in the Rotary Club of Natick Crowdfunding Grant. I am also grateful to my other wonderful sponsors: Natick Cultural Council, Tiles Plus More, Rotary Club of Natick, Middlesex Savings Bank, Libby Construction, Jeff Olsen, Fair & Yeager Insurance, Cross Insurance, Leese Foundation, Greenberg Family, MetroWest Subaru, Kit Cunningham, Beth Byrne, Ball Family, Spark Kindness and many other generous individuals.

Have some fun at home making a paper mosaic! Draw a simple design on a plain piece of cardstock or regular paper. Then cut colorful paper, magazine pages, or printed paper into half inch strips, get a small scissor and a glue stick. Begin by cutting your strips into half inch squares. Put some glue on a small area and stick the little pieces on with some space between to make it look like a mosaic. Have fun!
